Publisher Description
Recognizes colors via cell phone camera. Can read out colors or convert them to sound signals. Helpful for blind, color-blind and dichromatic people. Interesting tool also for professionals, e. g. designers and photographers.
This FREE version includes all 16 base colors. Further colors and the sound color synesthesia (sonochromatic music) are optionally available via In-App.
Easy to use for blind and visually handicapped people:
• ColorFast can identify the exact color via cell phone camera.
• The blind or visually handicapped user hears the voice of a speaker who reads out the respective color.
• More than 200 color names are available for this acoustic service.
• ColorFast identifies colors of all possible sources and objects, e. g. pictures, clothes, paintings, trees, flowers etc.
• Can also be used with voice over.
• Voice over allows using the smartphone via specific gestures, e. g. tipping one time, tipping twice or slide over the screen.
• Users who are not visually handicapped can of course use ColorFast without voice over or the reading function and simply read the color names of the screen.
Better visual effect using sound color synesthesia:
• ColorFast provides this innovative technology which was only available for expensive high tech devices, e. g. Eyeborg.
• Perception of colors via acoustic signals.
• Colors are converted to acoustic waves.
• Every color has its specific sound.
• Blind, color-blind and dichromatic people can experience colors faster, more intensive and directly via these different sounds.
Useful tool for “color professionals“, e. g. designers:
• Spot an interesting color that you would like to use for your task.
• Color inspirations can easily be identified and saved even when you are not at your workplace.
• The color values can be converted to different color codes, e. g. RGB, HSV, Hex and CMYK.
• Color values can also be send via e-mail directly in the app.
• Pictures saved on the cell phone can also be used to identify colors.
• Optimized for retina displays and iPad.
